Bulk Material Supervisor reports to a Regional Manager and supervises the operation, maintenance, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of the stations bulk material handling systems and heavy equipment. Act as the liaison with Fuel Procurement and vendors regarding bulk material requirements and contract commitments. Coordinate contractor activities at coal combustion by-products sites. Supervise and coordinate bulk material activities with other departments and outside vendors to efficiently complete needed assignments and meet the stations needs. Responsible for river fleet operation, rail traffic, and truck traffic involved in the shipping and receiving of bulk material. Supervise station truck scales. Assure station harbor activities and towboat compliant with Coast Guard regulations. Assure bulk material Title V, river log, and tank inspection environmental reports are completed. Responsible for safety and training of bulk material handling employees. Develop department work schedules to meet the stations needs. Develop and implement department policies and procedures and assure compliance with company procedures. Responsible for department compliance with relevant business practices concerning sampling, weighing, inventory, and security.     Requires: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred). 2+ years experience with turbo machinery. Experience with field service and/or customer service. Must be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing. Possess knowledge concerning the equipment to know what items are needed for repair, how to repair and resources needed to perform the work. This could be through either experience (3-5 years) or education. Must be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines, demanding situations, and people with varying backgrounds and knowledge levels. Sufficient computer competency to operate commercially available software.

    Communicate project needs, etc, to customers, vendors and shop personnel. Analyze information from customers, shop personnel, etc for the proper processing and distribution. Properly log jobs and track billable charges to the customer. Obtain the proper information from customers, etc. to properly process a request for quotation or project. Review jobs periodically to help keep job on track. Issue quotations to customers. Properly process job folders and computer for invoicing to the customer. Review inspection data for repair requirements and proper processing. Communicate with sales personnel concerning status of job/customer. Assist in directing completion of shop reports. Develop repair procedures for projects in the shop.
